It’s raining season now and I always craved for one pot hot food. Sharing today, Braised Roasted Pork Tofu that with simple ingredients and required only little cooking time.

Ingredients :-

  1. 250g roasted pork (any protein at your liking, chopped to small cube size).
  2. 2 blocks fried tofu (cut to small cube size, put aside to cook).
  3. 150g tofu puff (cut to small cube size, put aside to cook).
  4. Cooking sauce (200ml water, 2tsp LeeKumKee oyster sauce, 3tsp LeeKumKee soy sauce and pepper).

Cooking Steps :-

Add roasted to cooking pot to pan fry to golden brown colour at high heat.

Flip to avoid over burnt, each side for 5-minutes.

Add fried tofu and tofu puff, stir fry for 1-minute.

Add cooking sauce, to cook for 5-minutes at high heat.

Boil at low heat for 15-minutes.

Last 4-minutes, turn to high heat for sauce thickening.

Serve to plate, enjoy!

Tips :-

  1. I have skip adding oil to pan fry roasted pork, because pork belly itself will produce oil upon frying.
  2. Take away or wipe away frying oil from pan frying roasted pork, this oil can be keep for next cook like stir fry vegetables or chicken breast.
  3. Avoiding pot stirring as it may crunch tofu to out of shape.

My kid likes this dish, he has requested extra sauce to eat with rice and meat is tender enough especially after boiling. Yes, my husband finished two bowls of rice whenever I cooked this dish Braised Roasted Pork Tofu.
