Let’s cook with me! Few ingredients needed and only taking 30-minutes to serve.
Braised Taucu Tofu
Ingredients :-
- Tofu (cut to smaller size).
- Tofu Puff (cut to smaller size).
- Onion (cut to smaller size, rinsed and put aside).
- Siew Bak Choy (cut to smaller size, rinsed and put aside).
- Goji Berry (rinsed and put aside).
- Sauce (1tsp taucu sauce, half tsp sugar, 2tsp LKK oyster sauce and pepper).
- 200ml water.
Cooking Steps :-
Hot stove, hot pot and add tofu puffs. Stir fry for 2-minutes.
Add sauces, stir fry for 1-minutes.
Add in 200ml water.
Add tofu.
Add onion.
Boil for 10-minutes at high heat stove.
Turn to slower heat, cook for 15-minutes for sauce thickening.
At final 5-minutes, add goji berry and siew bak choy.

Tips :-
- If you looking for extra aroma, add 1tsp of cooking wine and sesame oil.
- Colourful and kids friendly recommended ingredients to add to pot are potato, pea, corn and carrot, extra “sweetness” on taste.
- I have added LaoGanMa chilli oil to eat with Braised Taucu Tofu, on rainy dinner. Delicious!
