Hot stove, hot frying pan and hot oil to grill salmon fish head or bones for 5-minutes.
Flip to grilled another side of salmon fish head or bones for 5-minutes. (Caution of hot oil!).
Add 2L hot water to boil for 15-minutes, add 1tsp of butter then turn to lowest heat to boil for 20-minutes.
10-minutes before serving, add cabbage. Served, our Grilled Salmon Mushroom Cabbage Soup.
Tips :-
- I have added in cabbage bottom part and mushroom ‘leg’ that left over from dish Steamed Mushroom Minced Meat to cook from beginning, to bring more “sweetness” to our soup.
- Fish soup would have more oil along cooking, this is omega that very nutrition to our body.
- Sieve or be aware when serving our soup especially to kid or elderly, as we are boiling our soup with ingredient of fish bones.
- Be careful of hot oil splashing when grilling fish bones.
- You could add in tomato or corn to bring more “sweetness” to soup.
