I have recently came across a simple breakfast recipe that to be served in sweet and savoury which suits family members from elderly to younger infants.
Let’s cook with me!
All we need to do is early preparation, refrigerate it overnight and cook in 15-minutes in the morning.
Dutch Baby Pancake
Ingredients :-
- 65ml milk or 50ml water
- 1no of egg
- 5g sugar
- 20g low protein flour
- 5g butter
Cooking Steps :-
Mix ingredients except butter (ingredient #5), store in any type or size of container. Refrigerate overnight.
I am preparing 3 portions.
The next day morning, I will put mixture to room temperature while brushing my teeth or morning cleaning routine.
Preheat oven or air fryer, add butter to bowl to cook at 180°C (appr. 356°F) for 3-minutes.
Add mixture to bowl, to cook at 200°C (appr. 392°F) for 10-minutes.
Served!
I am adding in diced mozzarella to melt while Dutch Baby Pancake is still hot. Finished with fresh blueberries and sugar icing, enjoy!
Tips :-
- For busy mom, you could prepare more portion, to store in freezer with using ice cube trays. Defrost a day in fridge for next day cooking.
- I had also tried, cooked and freeze more portion. Reheat with air fryer, oven or even microwave for breakfast or tea time any time within a week.
- For savoury version, you could add in air fried bacon or sausages at your liking.
- For healthier version, you could reduce sugar level or skip sugar and adding in fresh fruits like avocado, baby tomatoes, strawberries or kiwi.
- Mozzarella can be replaced with greek yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese or pizza topping too.
I hope you like this simplest and delicious breakfast recipe idea, my family love this recipe Dutch Baby Pancake. Try this out!
