Sharing another simple cooking recipe that requires ingredients that’s left over from fridge, to cook in just one pot with 30-minutes needed. You can follow ingredients as list below or modify according to left over in fridge.
Let’s cook with me, kids and elderly friendly cooking recipe – Braised Minced Meat Tofu Mushroom Pot.
Braised Minced Meat Tofu Mushroom Pot
Ingredients :-
- 150g tofu, cut to small cubes.
- 200g mushroom, cleaned and cut to smaller size.
- 1 no. egg wash.
- 200g minced meat, marinade with pepper and salt.
- Cooking sauce – 200ml water, 2tsp soy sauce, 1tsp oyster sauce, pepper and 1tsp sesame oil.
Cooking Steps :-
Hot stove, hot oil and add egg wash to frying pan to grill for 3-minutes until golden brown colour.
Flip omelette and cut into smaller pieces.
Add minced meat, to cook for 3-minutes.
Add mushroom, to cook for 5-minutes.
Add tofu, to cook for 2-minutes.
Add cooking sauce, to cover all ingredients to slow cook for 10-minutes.
Add 2-minutes to cook at high heat for sauce thickening.

Tips :-
- You can cook with any left over ingredients in your fridge.
- For vegan friendly cooking recipe, you may skip minced meat.
- Carrot or corn is sweet and colourful ingredients for kids and adult too.
- Dashi soup or anchovy soup is good to replace water in cooking sauce step.
- Skip last cooking step, if you are a soupy person like me.
