The Wheel of Brisbane

Located at the entrance to the South Bank Parklands, is a giant 60-meter tall Ferris wheel along Russell Street that’s is local one of the most memorable landmarks. Built in 2008, to celebrate 150th anniversary of the state of Queensland. It has air-conditioned gondolas and covering unbeatable 360-degree views of the Brisbane River and the cityscape at the top. You can also do a visit and ride this attraction at night, to enjoy the vibrant colors of the city lights illuminating the metropolis.

Tips : You don’t need to book to ride the Wheel of Brisbane. On the spot to buy a ticket at counter, or pre-purchase one online before you arrive.

Museum of Brisbane

Located in one of Brisbane’s premier heritage buildings was redesigned and reopened in 2013. This “small in size, big in stories” museum occupies the top level of City Hall, and showcase history of Brisbane and its people to life through a series of state-of-the-art exhibitions covering everything from convict history to Brisbane’s floods. You may engaged a paid guide tour, offers entry into its clock tower and learn about how it runs and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.

Story Bridge

A popular spot that you shouldn’t missed! Unique in its own right, Story Bridge is a heritage-listed, longest steel cantilever bridge that allows access between the northern and southern suburbs of Brisbane. This is a bridge that connecting the suburb of Fortitude Valley to Kangaroo Point. Definitely worth for a after meal walk, be it morning or evening at your call either to watch beautiful sunrise or illuminating colorful lights in this city! How about doing both 😉

Brisbane City Botanic Gardens

It’s a popular exercising jog area and a relaxing space to enjoy in green and to escape the bustling streets of the metropolis including a rainforest grove, lily ponds, a mangrove boardwalk, and more. Many flora types could be found here, nicely arranged nicely placed for you to enjoy visually and same time worthy instagramable posts!  If you visit on a Sunday, there will be a market at the central entrance where you can shop.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Koala lover? Then this the place that you should visit with your loves one too! Here, you can also get close with more than 70 species of other lovable Aussie animals. Cackle with kookaburras, hand-feed kangaroos, and watch as flocks of rainbow lorikeets descend during a feeding. Dingoes, wallabies, snakes, wombats, and even crocodiles also live in this compact sanctuary nestled on the Brisbane River. Your solo, couple or family trip would be up to no regret after this visit, for sure!

Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park

If you are an outdoor person, you shouldn’t skip this on your bucket list. Located across the river from Brisbane’s central business district, Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park offers sweeping views of Brisbane’s skyline, recreational activities like jogging, cycling, and rock climbing which suitable for all skill levels —on its cliffs. The cliffs were formed by convicts mining the volcanic rock in the middle of the 19th century.

Roma Street Parkland

Who don’t like free stuff? Engaged in a free activity, stroll through Brisbane casual riverwalk (approximately 5.3-kilometer way long) after meal with your loved ones would be best thing of the day! Winds its way through the heart of the city, from the neighborhoods of South Brisbane to Moreton Bay. The river is also located at center of local life, and residents and visitors alike enjoy the many waterfront parks and landmarks, riverside walks, and sightseeing cruises.

Tips : Walkway and bicycle path is in separated lane, you can fully enjoy either walking or cycling safely!
