Yes, it’s broccoli dish again (haha!) because broccoli is lazy mom’s easiest cooking ingredients. And, yes and it’s already slowly become my daily habitual vitamin pill too.
Today’s dish is cooking with love, as my kid brought home school project – Home-Grown Mushroom. This is a fun and learn programme that both myself and kid enjoy doing together. We water the plant and watch it grow to mushroom, first ever in our life. Such amazing process and we get to enjoy our hard work too (now stay safe in our tummy, haha!).
Easy cooking steps and simple ingredients, let’s cook with me!
Home-Grown Mushroom
Stir Fry Home-Grown Mushroom with Broccoli
Ingredients :-
- Broccoli (chopped to your favourite size, rinsed and put aside).
- Home-Grown mushroom (any type of mushroom at your liking, rinsed and put aside).
- Cooking oil (I am using avocado oil, little will do).
Cooking Steps :-
Hot stove, hot pan and hot oil to add mushroom, cook to golden color. Approximate at 6-minutes.
Add broccoli to frying pan, to cook for 6-minutes.
Stir fry for 3-minutes, then we are to serve Stir Fry Home-Grown Mushroom with Broccoli. Served and enjoy!
Tips :-
- Try to cook less than 10-minutes on stir frying for broccoli on pan, to keep nutrient and freshness.
- To add “sweetness” to dish for kids, you may add in corns, sweet bell peppers or cabbage to place broccoli to cook extra 3-minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese, baked walnut, cashew nut or dried cranberries on top, is yummy to eat as dinner salad for light eater!
